Into The Woods Junior Dates

This year we will be doing Into the Woods Junior! Into the Woods is a show all about wishes and the choices we make. It is full of classic fairytale characters such as Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack (and his beanstalk), Rapunzel, and more!


DATES
Here are the dates for you.
  • Wednesday, November 13 @ 6:30 PM. Parent meeting in the school cafeteria. One parent/guardian of the child who will be in the show must attend one of our two mandatory meetings to get the participation fee discount. If you cannot attend this meeting, you must attend the make-up meeting. 
  • Tuesday, December 3 @ 2:45 PM. Parent meeting make-up in the Wolf-Cub auditorium. You must attend ONE (only one) of the two meetings. 
  • Thursday, December 5. Auditions for grades K-3. We will have sign up times available at the parent meeting. All participants are required to audition, but can audition in groups if they feel nervous.
  • Friday, December 6. Auditions for grades 4-6. We will have sign up times available at the parent meeting.  All participants are required to audition, but can audition in groups if they feel nervous. Children are only eligible for main or speaking parts if they audition alone.
  • Friday, December 13. Callbacks. This will be an invitation-only basis. It will start after school for all and will last 2-3 hours.
  • Monday, December 16: Parts posted after school. All students will need to come to the cafeteria to pick up rehearsal materials.
  • Tuesday, December 17: Rehearsal for all speaking and main parts.
  • Thursday, December 19: Rehearsal for all speaking and main parts.
  • Friday, January 3. Rehearsals will start. Full cast will attend this first day.
  • Tuesdays and Fridays: Most rehearsals will be on Tuesdays and Fridays January-Show.
  • Thursday rehearsal dates are: February 6, February 13, and March 5.
  • Mandatory Rehearsals start THURSDAY February 13. If you have an event you feel warrants missing rehearsal, please talk with the directors. 
  • Friday and Saturday, March 6-7: Show performances. There will be an evening show Friday, a matinee Saturday, and an evening show Saturday.
